Join the Summit Journey
During 2020 and 2021 so many things have changed about our work environments, educational systems, social interactions, and our awareness of injustices. Moving forward in 2021 and beyond leaders will need to be conscious of how to repair what has been lost and look for how to rebuild the future of our social and work environments in a way that is more human and more productive.
We invite you to join us on a Leadership Journey
- Learn - Increase your consciousness about the multi-faceted impact the past year has had on our lives and the lives of those around us. There are lessons to be learned through experiences and stories that inform us how to find a new and different path forward. As leaders, we are called to utilize these new realizations, tools, and techniques to create a vision and start the journey of repair and transformation.
- Experience - Discover a supportive community while developing empathetic understanding that will empower us with the hope and strength we need on this leadership journey. We acknowledge that we will experience discomfort with the scope and speed of change that is created by the urgency to act and rebuild. It is through connection and community that we can value the past and build for the future.
- Be Inspired - Continue the journey to repair and transform by sharing with your organizations, schools, or communities. By utilizing the knowledge and tools we gain, we can work with a new network of colleagues and lead people toward a hopeful vision that will repair and transform to build a new, more equitable, and sustainable normal.

"And", The Grace Between Right or Wrong
How can Polarity Thinking help heal a community or organization? July 14, 2021; 1:00 - 2:30 PM ET Cliff Kayser MSOD, MSHR, PCC Chandra Irvin, M.Ed., MDIV Margaret Seidler, MPA |
Learn about the power of “AND.” Participants leave the session invigorated with a renewed sense of empowerment and hope for a better future in our communities and workplaces. They begin to see the possibilities of the influential roles they can play going forward using a polarity lens. Participants surface their issues of interest, where finding common ground, in spite of differences, can reverse the energy of resistance and polarization.
This session will focus on a case study on Polarity Thinking in the Charleston Illumination Project where the aim was to better society by giving equal voice to citizens, finding common ground for the good of the whole community, and adopting ideas for change embraced by a city police chief and his department in Charleston, SC. With that foundation, you will explore how a polarity lens can be utilized in reducing polarization and increasing willingness for healing and repairing within your organization and communities. The Charleston Illumination Project grew out of the community response to a race motivated mass shooting in a black church in Charleston, SC in 2015. |

Why Resilience The #1 asset organizations rely on to thrive in today’s ultra-competitive marketplace is their employees. And with employee burnout rising sharply, the ability to meet business results is severely under threat. Poor management of stress can manifest itself at the individual level with low energy, poor judgement, and the silent killer at any organization, apathy. If employees can’t perform to their full potential, how can their organizations be expected to? Resilience. The Human Performance Institute® Resilience Session The Resilience Framework gives participants the tools they need to build their personal resilience over time. The session is designed to be interactive and introspective to help individuals better recover, adapt, and grow from stress. |
Participants will learn:
- How to identify what makes a person resilient and the impact resilience has on performance
- The different types of stress and how to respond productively to stressors
- New tactics to help them grow and recover from stress
- How to re-frame their current mindset about stress
