Democratizing Leadership in Education
During Covid

December 2, 2021

Following the 2020 Leadership Forum Community Summit, two Leadership Lab teams were inspired to dive into the topic of Youth/Student Leadership Development. As a combined team they partnered with educators and youth to create leadership development modules for youth. The pilots, conducted in 6 schools, included student designed and facilitated discussion on topics such as “Strength Through Struggle” and “What is Leadership?”
With the rapid pace of change in our world and new challenges emerging every day, our very young leaders are facing struggles like never before. However, these same youth leaders provide hope for a better future, especially if we can support their leadership growth now. Access this slide show and read through at your own pace to see the foundational work that has been done.
