Are Our Comfort Zones Holding Us
Back From Equity and Inclusion?
February 17, 2021

Erin Grayson

The epitome of privilege is choosing to stay in our comfort zone. Stepping out of your comfort zone to be more equitable and inclusive requires risk which is uncomfortable. Transforming the comfort zone requires a proactive confrontation, naming it, identifying the cost, and turning it around. Without a compelling reason, we will not willingly leave our comfort zones. This session walks you through a tool to support courageous conversations about comfort zones and how they are serving you and/or your team to be equitable and inclusive. Visit Participate to access the recorded session and the Self Awareness Comfort Zone Workbook.
