![]() Exploring Restorative Practice Mala Malhotra Ortiz, Esq., PCC Restorative practice in community requires vulnerability to admit wrongdoing and to "fess up" to feeling hurt and pain. This foundational step is often missed, which then results in false restoration - a sort of faux or stucco siding. True restoration requires acknowledgment of breaks in a foundation, then we can move towards developing a joint, community plan around regeneration or rebuilding relationships/community/trust. Mala Malhotra Ortiz, will share her experience with restorative practice. She will provide some history and context and highlight her recent work at W.L.
