What is Fiscal Sponsorship?
Fiscal Sponsorship is a formal arrangement in which the Leadership Forum Community, as a designated 501(c)3 nonprofit, may sponsor an initiative that does not yet have the organizational structure or tax exempt status to accept donations. Before entering into a contractual arrangement with any project the Leadership Forum Community ensures that the goals of the project align with our mission and values. The Leadership Forum Community welcomes the opportunity to enter into fiscal sponsorship arrangements which provide diversity and expanded impact in leadership growth.

The SLOPE Leadership Project
The SLOPE Democratizing Leadership Exchange seeks to use leadership development research, experiences, and practices to positively impact school culture, classroom environments, teacher professional development, and student development. It is our belief that equipping all students with increased leadership capacity will empower them to address the accelerated changes and challenges of an increasingly diverse and interdependent society.

Our goal is to partner with K-12 educators and students to build next-generation leadership solutions and populate a platform (resource hub) that empowers educators everywhere to integrate leadership development into education. Six schools, a platform partner, and seven other organizations have partnered with us to advance this work outcomes.
Through the use of SLOPE, an innovative, research-based student and teacher framework, we will provide professional youth leadership development initiatives such as workshops, interactive discussions, and experiential resources. The output of the Democratizing Leadership Exchange platform is to have a next-generation resource hub with youth and educator vetted leadership resources, courses, and offerings that support student and educator development.
